Subject: It had no.... UMPH! (Spoilers)

Do not get me wrong, parts of this episodes, I enjoyed thoroughly! Though, some parts fell flat. And I'm not in denial either about the series ending. The Jossverse is far from over. We still have Angel... which, I should get back into. Also, books. Yah never know... Remember Marti Noxon saying one time that when every series would end - it would actually end because they didn't know if the show was going to be picked up again or not? NOW those were good endings! Becoming: 1&2, Graduation Day: 1&2, Restless, and The Gift.

I loved the D&D moments with Andrew, Giles, Amanda, Anya, and Xander. The moment where the original scooby gang was back together in the Halls of Sunnydale High. That was precious. I loved how Anya got over her fear... though, was fueled by it, and totally kicked all those Uber-Vamps and Bringers' assed. I liked the ending as well. It did end, but it also began... Basically leaving us to do the guessing what happens next.

The fight scenes were ok. The best CGI was where the Uber-Vamps were coming to take down the people that entered the seal. Though, I had the oddest feeling of where I saw that. Alot of ugly creatures in caves, running up to go get the good guys. Oh yeah! Lord of the Rings. Spike's sacrifice didn't make me cry or anything. 'Cause I know he's gonna be on Angel next season. It was nice...

The things I hated were Anya's death. I knew she was gonna die. Though, it just happened. It might be all tragic and crap, but, it wasn't. The Slayers awaking, there should have been "UMPH!!" no, we got girls going "ohhh". Needed some CGI. Angel, they should have used him more. Just a meaningless cameo like every other one in the Jossverse. Whenever you see oldies pop up for one singal episode, watch a love-life fall to crap. Oz (New Moon Rising). Riley(Can't Remember). Drusilla (Crush). The whole Principal Wood Faith scene about their sex date the other night. Waste of time....

And the final gripe. The First Evil. What the heck?! I am such a freakin' First Evil groupie! I really do enjoy talkative blowhards who can't shut the f!ck up. Though, it is the biggest evil ever in the Jossverse and made only two appearances as Caleb and Buffy. Scary! Where was Jenny? Jonathan? Angelus? Drusilla? Synder? Joyce? Kendra? What a way to scare the Potenials:

Kendra!First: "I am de slayer who cam adder Booffy. Luk, ad me now. Bood aksent and all! Dead too." (Translation: I am the slayer who came after after Buffy. Look, at me now. Bad accent and all. Dead too.)

And its plan. There was no build up. "And then, I will be made flesh." First: (sarcastic-laced) Wow. Second: Great! So I can stab you to death!? We knew about Ubies well awhile ago. So, there really wasn't anything scary about the LotR wannabe's.

Not many questions were answered, and that's good! It makes us think of the answers ourselves. Interactive! Not American-Idol interact, but hey! It was an overall interesting episode. Nothing that really stood out in my mind. While it wasn't bad, it wasn't good either.
