Subject: A few final thoughts......

I'm having to leave in a little bit to go to work and i won't be back until late tonight so i won't be getting home till after everything is said and done. I desperately tried to get today off so i could experience the shows end first run, but it wasn't meant to be. So to everyone the spoiled and unspoiled and those like myself who'll have to wait a bit or even longer enjoy. I never was the type to be drawn so deeply into something such as this but this show was an exception to all the rules. I remember it's beginnings too! I remember now thinking how utterly ridiculous the idea for a Buffy the Vampire Slayer series would be ( My brother dragged me to the Movie in 92 and i was so mad that i had spent money on it,he was a vampire fanatic and always wants to see any vampire related movie) Anyway, when i heard i thought no way i'm watching more of that crap. And i did stay away for the first season. And then one night nothing else was on and i caught the last half of "I Robot You Jane" when they were in their summer reruns , I had no idea what i was watching and when i found out i couldn't believe it. And i have been hooked since then, i've not missed one episode. The thing of it is Buffy has raised the bar now so whatever comes after it has some pretty big shoes to fill. Let's hope they're up to the challenge. But we do have to say goodbye and with that some of the discussion which came with it and that is sad. My participation at this board hasn't always been a constant thing but whenever it was possible i was here so i want to say thanks for letting me be here. I Have enjoyed it ,The Cross & Stake have always been where i went For Buffy info. And I won't let it go so soon Because although we're seeing the end of Buffy, i think there still will be some life in the Buffyverse and i'll be Waiting this time to say "Buffy the Vampire Slayer, wow what a brilliant idea"
