Sunnydale, we hardly knew ya.

I am one of those firmly residing in the "go out on top" camp. And yet as I sit here, I think of all the stories left to tell, and wish someone was still telling them.

Because I'm still listening.

I can almost feel the void already. I know the feeling of turning on the set, and having a true, pure expectation that something great will play out before me. I've got one more time to let that delicious anticipation wash over me, one more time to feel the joy of a tale well told. More often than not, that's exactly what's happened. And with any luck, it's what will happen tonight.

And at 9:01 PM I'll sit, and wait, and wonder how long it will be before it happens again.

Joss- thanks. Whenever you're ready to spin more tales, I'll be around.
