Subject: We have lots of commercials for Foster's here, but I don't drink
In reply to: Gemma- thinks it's yucky but gets the job done 's message, "has anyone tried our Aussie beer? Apparently it more potent than US stuff" on 10:03:14 05/20/03 Tue

They do all these commercials with this cheesy Australian accent where they show something and say the Australian word for it (which is different than the American word) then wrap it up by showing a Foster beer bottle and claiming Foster is the Australian word for beer.
At least I think it's a cheesy imitation Aussie accent, I'll be embarressed if I find out it's an actual Aussie doing the accent.
By the way, and I'm turning into a girl as I say this, I miss the little koala in the Qantas commercials. He was funny. :-(
