Subject: Dude. I just read the alternative finale script.

And can I say I really wish that was the one that was made? Brilliantly written, continuity with the show, and even made the ending mall discussion poignant. Answers a lot of the plot holes. Giles was Giles again. Swordfighting. D&D jokes. Sniffly moments.
Of course, don't believe it's real because of the spellings and odd descriptions, but ... *sighs* it's really good.
The weird part is it almost COULD fit with Clare Kramer's assertation that she was coming back...and the reports of surprise guest stars.
Not trying to start more finale stuff, but I can NOT believe that ME would send such a ... *ahem* half-baked effort as the series finale. I agree - the Bubonic script is a decent ep, but not a series finale.
