. . .: * Enter . . . if you dare . . . * :. . .
You stare up at the gaping cave mouth. You were warned by everybody not to come here . . . but your curiosity was too great. You needed to know: why was everyone so terrified of this cave? Was it because of the ancient legend of the evil mountain trolls? Or was it because of a much, much older legend . . . one that was never spoken of anymore. That legend was too terrifying. Too real-seeming. The Legend of Coldgort. The words make you shudder, and you feel sick. Coldgort, the terrible dragon, that hibernated for one hundred years at a time. Coldgort, who weighed eight tons. Coldgort, whose head was as big as your body. You shiver harder and swallow, fighting down nausea and fear. Then you slowly begin walking into the cave. You hear the dripping of . . . something, somewhere. Water, you try to tell yourself. You here crunching under your hooves and peer down. You bend closer and closer until you suddenly realize that you are eye to eye with a human skull! Panicking, you rear up with a frightened whinny. When you come down, your forehoof smashes into the top of the skull and gets stuck there. You crack the skull against the wall, frantically, your heart pounding, and finally it cracks in half. You trot quickly off down the dark, echoing passage, the whites of your eyes showing as sweat dampens your neck. You notice a piece of wood sticking out of the wall. You slide to a halt and nervously approach it. In what appears to be brown paint, someone has smeared the words: GO BACK NOW. FOR YOUR LIFE. Hah, you think. I'm not afraid. And you keep walking. Your hooves clatter as you start in surprise. At least fifty bats swoop suddenly by your head and you nicker shrilly, charging off down the tunnel, panic making you wild. Finally, you gain control and slide to a halt, to notice a second sign. In the same rusty brown color, it proclaims: DEATH AWAITS YOU. LEAVE THIS PLACE OF HORROR. Feeling a little less brave, you push onward. Then you begin to smell something. It is not a pleasent smell. You snort, your muzzle wrinkling up with disgust. It is a blend of dung, sweat and blood. Gross, you think. Then you suddenly notice that a pale red light is ahead of you. Your fear is starting to swell like a bubble in your chest. You walk slower and slower, your darkening your coat rapidly. Finally, you can't you any further. You're a mere four horn-lengths from the source of the light, though: a small doorway, just big enough for you to fit through. "AAAAAAAAA!!!!" You jump at the drawn-out, blood-chilling scream and you throw your weight onto your hindquarters. You toss your head in the air and dance nervously, struggling not to spin around and go charging back to light, cool breezes, and safety. You here someone sob from beyond the doorway, and the sob grows into another scream: "AAAAAAA!!!! NO, NO, DON'T!!! FOR THE MUSESPEAKER'S SAKE, DON'T! AAAAAAA!" And the person starts sobbing again. You take one step . . . then another . . . then another . . . a fourth . . . and you peer into the doorway. The chamber beyond it is huge, the stone ceiling lost in darkness many, many horn-lengths above your head. And--crouching in the middle of the room--IT IS COLDGORT!! The terrible beast os awakened. His scales are dull black, coated with grime and grunge. Where his eyes should be are endless pits of fire. His great jaws are ripping a mangled, mutilated body up, blood flying everywhere. A young woman, her left arm missing, kneels in front of the dragon and sobs, letting out screams of fear and horror. She is chained to the ground. You stare numbly. Do you dare to challenge the deadly Coldgort?

A handsome dapple grey unicorn beats his wings and flies past the dragon stopping at the woman and let her climb onto his back. After they were a safe distance from the dragon he lowered the woman to the ground and shot a burst of light from his horn staight at ColdGort's evil heart. When the light hit him and gave one last surprised look and then exlpoded, dragon parts everywhere. Flying the woman to safety he heals her and lets her escape.

As she steps forward, brave and determined, the beautiful Arab mare with the jet-black body and the golden wings gives out a shrill whinny to tell the dragon she is there. Fighting back her laughter, she flies up at those firey eyes. She leans back her head and then shoots out a blinding light from her eyes. Then, a huge ball of flame was around her, and when it disappeared, she was no longer there. You then see her next to the woman, soothing her to get on her back. With the woman on her, the mare glided as swiftly as an eagle towards the ferocious beast. When the dragon saw her, he shouted and roared with rage. He used his firey breath to kill the beautiful mare, but her agility and brightness saved both herself and the woman. Finally, she swerves around her hindquaters and another ray of light shot out from her tail...tail whip. It hit the ferocious creature across the face. He roars even louder. While she floats through the air, the beautiful mare lets out one last attack. She rears backwards, and when she gets into normal position, a burst of water and ice from the her mouth hits the ferocious creature and kills him. The blood and guts of the beast flew over the walls of the cave. The woman on the mare's back said sadly "The dragon ate my husband. My arm is also down there. You can tell where it is because of the diamond ring." The woman began to cry. The mare nickered at he human blood and bits, and it magically started to bond together. An arm with a huge opal ring flies towards the woman, and it morphed back to her shoulder. The husband by this time was fully created, but he just lay there naked. The woman kissed the mare and the mare nickered one last time, and the husband and wife vanished.

Bull snorts, hearing the crys and his body trembling. He walks forth, eyeing the dragon, then snorting and shaking his head in tearable rage. He takes flight and attempts to ram his horn into the eye of the beast...

The cave intrigue's here, nothing known of the past she floats in on the breath of a breeze which exists, barely but a whisper of sound to mark her presence. gently lowers to the ground as the cave narrows curious to what lies thereafter.
