i have some questions on testing silver.i have several taxco or mexican sterling bangle bracelets. when i test for silver(im trying to learn how to do it so i test on things i know are sterling) sometimes the stuff is blue ish before it turns milky and sometimes it is red first. one more question..how come some taxco bracelets are marked sterling but look sort of brass colored on the inside? even after cleaning with silver polish.they look brass with sterling over them but are marked sterling.thanks if any one knows these questions.
