When those of us in the Room heard the terrible news, we knew that not only had we lost a loving and brilliant person but gone form our midst was somone truely kind and caring. A man who welcomed everyone, was never to busy to listen, loved each of us equally, and always enjoyed greeting old friends, meeting new people, turning them into new friends. With charm, wit and humor, he brought a warmth to his Chat Channel, that made it unlike any room on the Net. Everyone who came felt his infectious good humor and was the better for it. Through his excellent writing, his conversation and playful Chat he made the world a much better place than he found it. He had an eye for good writing and did his utmost to encourage young authors. He touched the lives of so many from the farthest corners of the globe he will never be forgotten. My own five month friendship with him and working with him an OP in the room, has been an experience I will forever treasure.
