I wrote this, because writing is what I do. I like to think it summarizes how me and many others felt about the man I knew as Justin Case. Who I liked to call JC.

Everyone who knew you knew you were special.
You touched their lives.
In ways that most of us could never understand.

You were always willing to help a friend in need.
You had many friends.
We shed tears because we miss you.

But that wasn’t the only reason we cried.
It was for the others.
That would never know the beautiful person we did.

You were a paragon - for all of us.
And deep in our hearts.
We’ll always carry sweet memories of you .

So the earth says goodbye to a treasure.
Reclaimed before its time.
But we’ll never forget what you meant to all of us.
