true as she says, the link is open ended - sending back no information or anything, just as if it's being sent into a muffled emptiness.


"Why did this Mor take your magic from you? The way you struggle against this, it seems to me you are a great fighter with no need of it."


The girl's eyes flicked up briefly to watch the men as they resume their daily activity, ignoring the other girls for the most part save when taking one into a tent now and again... "We are all in the same way here. We did not expect to be put in chains and collars when we were captured. That girl there... " she pointed to a dark haired girl with brilliant blue eyes... "She was a leader of a mighty band of warriors. But even she was humbled and brought low by these men. Sometimes I think she still struggles against the captivity. She escaped once... She beguiled the men into believing she was tamed and when they removed her wrist shckles, she killed the two men and escaped... but they quickly brought her to heel. The problem is, they were prepared for her to run..."


the girl turns back to you and pins her light brown eyes into yours, the unspoken truth flaring behind them... "They do not expect all the girls to run. And in truth, not all would."
