“Come ON, Kitty!” Tig has a hold of Mysty’s hand and is dragging her through the woods. “I’ve had enough. ENOUGH, I tell you!”
Tig throws the rolled up carpet down off her shoulders and spreads it out on the ground, then half pushes, half drags Kitty onto it.
“It’s always about you, isn’t it? Always about you... You can’t have everything your way, you know!”
Tig mutters some more, arranging the packs beside Mysty.
“If it’s not one thing then it’s something else, with you. Let’s do this, Tig, let’s do that...The apples have gone bad, Tig! I miss Tenji, Tig! My feet hurt, Tig! Well I’ve had enough, Kitty! I can’t take another day of this, you hear me? Not ONE! You can go home to your husband and HE can put up with you because I’ll be damned if I’m going to!”
She mutters some more and flops down on the carpet, shoving Mysty to the side so she can have some more room. Chanting a little, the carpet levitates directly up off the ground, slowly at first, then faster until they are above the tree line.
“As if it wasn’t bad enough with everything else that’s gone on without your constant whining... I don’t know how Tenji puts up with you, Kitty, I really don’t....”
