Fero: as you step into the corridor, you hear a clickwhoooooosh all around you. You see the torches lighting by magic down the corridor... and a grating noise from behind you as the floor recloses.

Shades, sorry sweety: as Fero steps into the corridor, the floor gives way under you and drops you down into a chute... you bounce and skid for what seems miles before being dumped into an empty cell like room that opens into a hallway.
