Chance trots into the kitchen. He nudges one of the cupboard doors with his nose. He whines softly for Maria to feed him.

She looks up from reading the paper You hungery boy, Ill feed ya. She stands up and gets a large bag of food out of the cupboard and pours it in his dish. She fills his water dish up also.
