The few people I know in TMU like to work in there. They keep current in the area they came from and usually get pulled out of TMU during the busiest periods to help with staffing, if able. The only complaint is amongst some of the younger TMU people is that they never get any good days off because many veteran controllers move to TMU to ride out their last few years, causing them to never gain in seniority.
