@ the "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen". I just rented that last week. Apparently, neither of us was overly impressed with it. I *was* happy to see Peta (Pieta?) Wilson or whatever her name is from La Femme Nikita in another role, and the cute Brit dude from "Deep Rising" showing up as Dr. Jekyll. And I was reluctantly attracted to whoever that was they had playing Dorian Gray, which is a feat, considering that I hated the bastard in the book ("The Portrait of Dorian Gray", not "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen". Dunno if that's even been put into book form).

Anyhoo...you asked about favourite actors / actresses. I have a hard time picking just one, because I like a lot of different people for different reasons. But just based on sheer talent, I'd have to go with Kevin Spacey and Morgan Freeman. I don't think I have a female favourite in this category.

Then, you've got the actors / actresses that I love, and think are really talented, but I wouldn't really count as favourites:

Johnny Depp (his attributes go without saying)

Bruce Willis (think about it. he can do comedy, action, sci fi, drama, horror. he's really well-rounded)

Tim Robbins (like with Bruce Willis, I appreciate diversity. He played a psycho in "Arlington Road", a funny "straight man" in "Nothing to Lose", and then you've got his Andy from "The Shawshank Redemption")

And hmm...I'm still having trouble coming up with female actresses that I like. Meh. I think I've met my quota.
