Subject: Okie dokie. And about Viggo's new movie...

I'd seen a preview for that "Hidalgo" some time ago. To me it sorta looked a bit like 'The Mummy' but maybe it's totally different. It kinda didn't look that impressive to me from what I *did* see and I couldn't help thinking, "Poor Viggo - guy has one awesome role then when it's over he's stuck with sub-role roles." But maybe it's better than I think it is.

As for "Troy" - saw a preview of that too. All I really remember from it is the wide, wide, WIDE shot of the hundreds of boats. To me it just looks like another "Gladiator" (a movie which I didn't bother seeing at the theatre or on video but have now watched twice on the tv. I've grown to really like that film and so I'm a bit hesitant with "Troy" as I don't think it could live up to the same standard as "Gladiator"). I mean, from the preview it just seems like an attempt to do everything BIGGER than most movies of the same genre. Plus, I think it's kinda hard to take brad pitt seriously in that time period. He just doesn't look like he should be around then.
