Actually, can't believe I forgot to mention this: it's been confirmed that there'll be a four-hour Farscape mini-series. Sets are currently being rebuilt; filming starts in December. Most reports have it as a standalone, rather than a continuation from the end of s4, although I've heard one or two people say that it *will* be a continuation. I'm kind of in two minds -- I want to know how the story ends (even though it'll probably be in a way that I loathe, knowing the way that s4 ended), but I don't want them to try to wrap things up in four eps. I guess the best we can hope for is a stunningly successful mini-series, and then some network decides to pick up the show for a fifth season, continuing on from the end of s4.

So. Yeah. Farscape is kinda back, in case you hadn't heard. (It's a sign of how disillusioned I've been with the final eps of late that I didn't come in here and scream the news out a couple of days ago.) Hoping for the best, but preparing myself for more of those godawful s4 storylines. Making the mini-series standalone will be a good thing, if it's set a season or two before the baby crap, just as long as they don't play up the J/A Twu Wuv and the action and effects to the detriment of the story. Which is all too possible in a stand-alone designed to bring in as many new viewers as possible.

(Can you tell that I'm in two minds about this? *g*)
