I've just been spending time looking at www.timeanddate.com/worldclock. so for my short story I'd be able to figure out the time difference between where I live in Australia, where qc lives, where you other guys live in America and Canada etc. I went to the IS to get the specifics of where everyone lives. I eventually found what the current time for you was (this was a little while ago) it was 7:44PM Sunday while here (at the exact same time) it was 10:44AM Monday. The peeps who I don't have the specifics for are Brack (her info just says 'Canada'), Dru, sophie and SB.

It's all very confusing. I'm thinking maybe it'd be easier if for the purpose of this anthology of short stories we were all in one place (maybe Los Angeles since that's where the AI gang are in my novel) - tho I want it to take place somewhere that'd be cold (is it cold in Los Angeles on December 21?). Maybe to make it easier we could use your suggestion i.e. we all start in the same place then go off to do our individual things. Say for example in my story me and qc go off to do christmas shopping or something, some incident happens, we deal with it and that ends my story. Next might be your story in which you and brack go do whatever, something happens, you deal with it, then that's the end of your story. Then it passes to the next person.

As far as continuity goes, sure, you can mention stuff that's happened in someone else's story, you can even have some ppl from someone else's story show up in *your* story. It's like, whatever you want. Not many guidelines really. Just, try to avoid having movie/tvshow/book characters. That's not to say our stories can't have fiction:) In yours you and brack could be fighting demonic reindeer if you so wished but see, at least the demonic reindeer wouldn't be from some movie or tv show or book (at least none I've heard of;)
