On a stupid camp we went to in highschool, we had to trek up a bloody big hill. I was quite vocal about my desire *not* to trek up it but I got forced to anyways. So after nearly dying while getting up the hill (it was more of a mountain I guess) the teacher who had tried to encourage me to keep going said (once we reached the top) something like, "Aren't you glad you did this afterall? You made it! Look at that view out there. Doesn't that make it all worthwhile?" and I'm, like, totally dehydrated and couldn't care less about the sodding view and say in a very angry voice, "No!" and go and find a spot to sit down at, finally. ANYways (this is going somewhere) after walking back down and meeting a snake on the way I discovered my hand (can't remember which one) had been severely burnt by the sun. It was bloody red and that night, it was still burning so I went to request some ice to put on my hand to kewl it down and the teacher I asked for the ice thought I'd been in a fight and that's how I hurt my hand. Phfft. Still, I woulda come off as sounding more tough-like if I'd said I *had* been in a fight;)
