Subject: you've surely seen it, B. (spoilers for the Witchblade movie included, but I'll warn you when I get to them)
In reply to: Doyle 's message, "Has anyone seen the Witchblade movie? And if so, is it worth watching?" on 05:25:14 09/06/03 Sat

They play it first thing whenever they show the series in order. I'll remind you of what happens in it below. And Doyle, *I* certainly think the series was good (well, the first season was, anyway...and they ended the first season in just such a way that I can pretend the 2nd season never happened and be totally happy), but I don't know how much it'll appeal to you. A) 95% of the characters are hot guys. While that *absolutely* works for me, it probably won't do as muich for you ;) B) The lone female character (other than a few random recurring characters) is certainly good looking, but...If I know you, she's not your type ;)

The story itself is pretty good. But again, I can see how it would appeal to me more than you. Meh. Watch it...see if you like it. Lemme know either way.

Spoilers for Witchblade Movie Below:

B...I'm sure you must've seen it. It's really just like two episodes stuck together at the beginning of the series. It involves the first time Sara comes across the Witchblade in Irons' exhibit, and it kind of attaches itself to her in that fight while she's exchanging bullets with Gallow's henchman. Then the whole place blows up, remember, and she and Danny track Gallow to an abandoned theatre he's planning to buy. Danny gets caught and killed, and Sara goes nutso, killing everyone there but Gallow, who escapes. Then she finally tracks him down and arrests him at the end in the empty subway station. Remember? The first ep of the actual series starts off with Sara in uniform, having to accept a reprimand from her new boss Bruno Dante, and she gets saddled with Jake as a new partner.

End Spoilers.
