Subject: Killing Tara was the best thing to happen...

...to Amber Benson's career, that is. She's really on a roll these days.

Her play, Albert Hall, is being presented next month by a group called The Lone Star Ensemble from April 17 through May 11 in Hollywood. Originally workshopped by the Blank Theatre Company late last year, Albert Hall "tells the story of a 30-year-old who suffers a nervous breakdown and is forced to return home to live with his overprotective mother. Blurring the lines between life and art, reality and imagination, the play serves as a humorous, absurd, and uniquely irreverent look at the state of theatre and its place in modern culture."

Meanwhile, Ghosts of Albion, an animated drama Amber co-wrote with Chris Golden and also directed, is currently being presented by BBCi, the online division of the BBC. The cast includes Emma Samms and Anthony Daniels (aka C3PO from Star Wars). Act I is online now - check it out!
