Okay, so I've got this Angel novel called 'The Longest Night Vol. 1' and it's basically a collection of short stories involving the AI team that are supposed to take place on December 21 aka the winter solstice aka the longest night of the year. So there's about twelve stories (the first one begins at 6pm and ends at 7pm, the second one begins at 7pm and ends at 8pm etc) and there's very little continuity between each story (which is kind of a flaw in the novel).

So I thought what we could do is if I write the first short story that takes place between 6pm - 7pm), someone could do the next one from 7pm - 8pm then someone else could do the next one and so on. Your own personal story would have both a beginning and an ending (unlike the NES chapters which just kept being continued). And it wouldn't have to have all the characters that were introduced in someone else's story. Your story could just focus on certain people.

Now I figured instead of writing stories featuring characters from Buffy, Angel etc we'd just feature ourselves in them. I mean, we're all interesting enough people to write stories about (don't laugh!). And at least if we didn't include tv/movie characters, no one should get confused as to who everyone is. The stories would just feature *us*. We all know each other (at least to some degree) and each person's story could focus on themself along with maybe a couple of us also featured and your story wouldn't have to have anything to do with anybody else's story. I just thought it would be something slightly different to try to relieve the board deadness (which I probably caused, since while I was away it seems there were many more posts than when I was around). I realise none of you guys will probably go for this but please do consider it.

The few guidelines: 1) The stories wouldn't have to be long at all. They could be as short as you want (that's why they're called "short stories"). 2) Try to avoid bringing in any tv/movie/book characters as anyone who hadn't seen those tv shows/movies or read those books wouldn't have a clue who those characters were (I know it makes it sound less interesting but I think that's why everyone got bored of the NES's - no one knew who the hell the people were featured in them). 3) Your story would begin at one hour and finish by the next. This would just be to give *some* kind of cohesion.

So, before I write the first one I have to ask, who would be interested in taking part in this? Anyone?
