She smiles at Demeter. "Don't worry, I didn't make myself clear enough." Then she turns to Artemis. "I'm afraid there's really nothing much for you to do." A though enters her mind. "Go help Varrenta gather the other animals of the woods to safety inside our tree barrier. Call out when you reach the edge of it- I'll part the plants for you to enter." Then she saw the poor exhausted Lilith. "What you can do right now is rest. We may need you and Demeter when the bloody thing actually bothers to get here. But meanwhile the two of you have to rest- we need everyone as fresh as possible. I'll finish the protection." She returns her bright gaze to Artemis. "A Mage Storm, from what I've heard, is a storm created by the byproducts of a magical battle. No one knows what it will do, and I fear for our safety. The best we can do is protect ourselves the best we can. A Mage Storm is what gave friend Calliope her wings, I believe."
Shama sighs and collects her thoughts momentarily. "Now it's my turn to pith in, instead of just bossing people around... Though that's my main specialty." She smiles wryly.
The centauress trots to the centre of the clearing. She closes her eyes, feeling the cleansing, fresh energy of all the immense plants around her. The energy is slightly tainted by the magic used to modify them, but she feels it pulsing through her body. Channeling it, she makes two different kinds of vines ravel their way thickly up the trees, and huge, shiny leaves sprout from all the enormous plants, creating walls and a ceiling, blocking out the sun. As thousands upon thousands of tiny blue-green luminescant mushrooms sprout, she says, "The one vine is waterproof, the other fireproof. And the leaves are magicproof. With any luck it'll prevent anything this rotten storm can throw our way."
Having used only some of her own energy, she is tired but not exhausted. Standing firmly in the eerie light of the mushrooms, she examines the herd's work, smiling happily. "Now we can say we are truly a herd." Shama calls out to Artemis and Varrenta, "Please be quick about gathering the other forest animals! I think it's approaching..." Though she says nothing, nervousness shows in her blazing green eyes, everything oddly tinted by the strange light.
