Trying to hide her shock and fear, she calls out to the immense creature she knows to be her friend Ki-Qah. "Lead me there please, in a minute!" Then she trots over to Varrenta. "Thanks, you're doing a great job." She sighs again. "This is an extremely difficult thing, and we are all pulling through. But we summoned them more to give them protection than to ask for their help. Please, get them somewhere safe, and above all keep them calm. Lie if you absolutely must- we cannot have nonsentient species running around terrified during the storm. If this is not too much to ask, will you perhaps mentally select the most level-headed beasts, the ones who could keep their cool best if it turns out we need the nonsentients' help? Because if we do, we may need to divide them into groups. Therefore each group must have a leader. And also, pick out the least level-headed and most nervous, and if it comes to dividing them, place them in groups with the calmest." She takes a deep breath.
"I'm not used to giving orders; I don't really know how I came to be in this position in the first place. I suppose ideas just sprung to me." She shrugs. "Well, it seems I have some patching to do. Good luck, friend." Shama gallops off to where her now-immense friend stands. She calls up, "I'm ready."
(OOC: Wow, I'm really proud of these long posts! *Grins* Heh. Probably boring the skull off the lot of you. In times of peace, Shama's not much of a leader. But in war or disaster, she's the one to count on.)
