*She runs with surprising agility,soundless.Overhead, the shadow of the hawk flits through,glimpsed in the screen of trees.Halting,she stands quietly,letting the forest breathe with her.Lifting her face to the sunwarmed trees,she closes her eyes momentarily. She tries to relieve the strain of being with "people" again.The hawk circles and dives, changing into a large panther.She murmurs to him,and raises her head to the trees.*
What do you make of this place, Juk? It seems good to me.That Lilith,she's very kind. I hope I don't seem...standoffish...I just don't know.It will take me a long time to learn things again.
Oh, this place is fine.And they are very nice here.Just be on the watch,Chi.You never know....Now, just try to relax,c'mon,lets explore some more.*He moves away,and melts into the trees.He does not go far, he cannot.She follows him slowly,melting to the shady covering of the pines.She trills softly to a young,shy squirrel. The creature walks hesitantly foward,sniffing cautiously.Finally, he makes up his mind and allows his ear to be scrathced.She does so soundlessly,before gently shooing him away.*Even the animals are nice here.But it will take getting used to.All good things do.Now,lets keep going,I want to see everything,Chi.And the we can go home. He walks close,offering her comfort,and a chance to wind down.They move slowly deeper into the forest.*
