UK Government Hypocrisy, re; Bali bombing

I see there was a memorial service today for those killed in the Bali bombing last year. That's all well and good. However, the UK Government is still warning people NOT to go to Bali, even though it saw a fraction of the people killed in the 9/11 (3,000) atrocity. Shouldn't the government have told us NOT to go to the US? Did the government say NOT to go to the US?

No!

Instead, they said we MUST go to the US!

What if the Balian government, along with other nation states of similar status and standing had told the world NOT to come to the UK during the IRA years for danger of being blown up?

And we wonder why they hate us! (Johnny foreigner, eh?)
