"Faith...is that...but...I don't understand" Dawn speaks all wide eyed and breathless
Faith sits herself up in the bed and looks around in panic, grasping onto the bed linen and tearing it as she screams at the top of her lungs.
"Dawn, what's wrong what..." Xander runs in followed closely by Fred and the others. Stopping in thier tracks at the sight ahead of them, Faith is writhing around nervously in her bed.
"How did this happen?" Fred asks Dawn nervously
"I...I don't know, she just...I don't know. Faith?" Dawns calls gently leaning in to see if it's all real.
Faith pulls back nervously "Little girl all alone in the wooods" Faith mumbles as rocks gently, the doctor comes rushing in.
"This isn't humanly possible" begins the doctor pacing down the corridor infront of them. "She was dead, there's no way...she was D.O.A" he says bewildered, stroking his chin.
Xander walks back into see Faith, he sits by her side and brushes her hair back she flinches away nervously looking into space with fear.
**Boston, 1990**
A red car is speeding down the freeway in the rain as it skids over to the side by a forest, a young girl is screaming as her Mother throws her out of the car "Poor little Faith, all alone in the woods" she cackles driving off.
"We need an I.D on the parents of a young girl found in the woods. She's been there for around three days" the Officer calls over the communications system
Back in the hospital Xander is trying to calm a rowdy Faith, who is leaping around the room, he attempts to calm her but it fails.
With one swift punch she knocks Xander clear out of the door to the hall.
Fred tends to him as Dawn and Thalia rush into the room but Faiths no longer there, the window is smashed "I'll chase, you get on the streets and try and find her" Thalia commands to Dawn.
Following hours of seaching, Faiths boots and trousers are found by Dawn in an alleyway "Over here" she calls to Thalia.
The two follow down the alley further as they come across a small girl, stood in the rain, wearing an oversized hoody.
She has her two front teeth missing and is crying. Dawn leans down to talk to her, she strokes her sobbing hair behind her ears "Hey little girl, where's your Mommy?"
The girl shrugs as Dawn lifts her up, she's no older than five years old "What's your name?" she asks wrapping her in her jacket.
The girl smiles cheekily "Faith"

Thalia and Dawn burst through the door of Faiths apartment where Xander and Travis have regrouped.
"Hey, who's the little girl?" Xander quips
"Faith...we think"
"Yeah...Dawn, If you hadn't noticed, Faiths about 18 years older than this child and has significantly more...everything"
"I know Xander!! We need to find out what's going on"
Thalia, Xander and Travis make thier way back to the spot she was found investigate things.
"It was, right about here" Thalia calls out to them
"How did this happen?" Travis asks gatehring up the various scattered objects of Faiths.
Dawn is back at the apartment with Faith sat on her lap "Where's your Mommy Faith?"
"She's sleeping" the girl replies looking up into her eyes. Dawn can see fear and pain deep inside her.
"Your eyes are real pretty, I've never really looked into them before" Dawn smiles.
Faith is playing the cords on her jacket "You're real pretty lady" she smiles with the gap in her teeth.
Dawn cradles her head and smiles.
"So, what? She just shrank? Cause that seems to me, a little...Sunnydale"
"We should probably get back to Dawn, and braids getting wet" Thalia sighs.
"erm guys I think braids may be the least of our worries right now" Travis points out as two rather sizey horned red demons approach them.
"You're right" smiles Thalia, placing a hand on each of thier backs as small waves of electricity leave her hands shocking them to the ground.
Thalia smiles at the demons and clicks her fingers "Boys, we've got work to do"

COMMERCIAL BREAK

Andrew is sat with his head in his hands at the bar "This is boring"
"This is Faith" Fred replied "and she's all small and if y'all aint gonna help then just leave" rummaging through piles of text it is clear she is getting restless.
"This is my bar" Andrew replies recieving unimpressed looks from both Garrison and Fred.
"I think I've found something" Fred pipes up excitedly.
Thalia walks into the apartment quietly "Hey Dawn, how is she?"
"She's holding up...I just sketched her a little picture to colour in" Thalia looks over at the table to see the 'sketch'
"You thinking of entering that into your exams? It's like a friggin' Van gough"
Dawn rolls her eyes then falls back on the chair yawning.
"You tired? Cause...I can take over for a while if you wanna catch some Z's"
"You sure? It'll only be for like...ten maybe fourty minutes" she smiles
"It's fine, we'll have a great time" Thalia forces a smile.
"If you insist" calls Dawn walking into Faiths bedroom
"Really, I do" Thalia whispers to herself guilt in her voice.
within seconds of Dawn leaving the room Thalia grabs Faith by the arm and begins to pull her out of the door.
"Hey, I'm just gonna get a..." Dawn stops in the doorway.
"What the hell are you doing?" she spits harshly with fear and confusion inside.
"I was just..." Thalia doesn't bother finishing the sentence instead she begins to rush out of the door.
"No!!" Dawn screams, suddenly Thalia is stopped in her tracks and unable to continue
"How did you do that" Thalia demands shocked
"I...I Don't know" she questions herself wide eyed and breathless.
ceasing the opportunity of Dawn temporary shock Thalia raises her hand and shocks Dawn down unconcious before fleeing the scene with Faith at hand.
"Why isn't she answering?" asks Fred anxiously knocking at the door of Faiths place.
"Maybe, Dawn took her for Ice cream or something, hey can we go for Ice Cream?" Andrew getting giddy.
"Probably not the best time" Garrison smiles touching Andrews arm.
Andrew smiles back a shiver rushing through him.
"Fred, why don't you just walk in? She never locks the door" Andrew says not moving his eyes from Garrisons face.
The three of them walk in and Fred immediately rushes over to Dawns side "Dawn, what happened? Where's Faith"
Dawn stirs "Thalia, she..." Dawn sits up assertively "She has Faith, she's going to hurt her"
"Why would she do that, I thought she was a good guy" asks Garrison concerned.
"Good enough to try and erase three of us" Travis says standing in the door way with Xander.
"Fred you think you can do a locator spell?" Dawn is close to tears.
"I'll try, I found something about why this happened to her" Fred speaks up
"When she died, all her memories left her and whichever it was that bought her back, whichever mystical energy...it changed her"
"What do you mean changed her?" Dawn demands closing in on Fred
"Well, i's like all of thsoe bad memories came flooding back to her at once and she couldn't deal with it."
"So she reverted back to a time when felt safe?" questions Travis.
"Not likely, she went back to the time she felt most vulnerable, the only time in her life she needed saving, rather than saving herself"
"and you say it was mystical energy that bought her back and done this?" Dawn begins scared.
"Right..." Fred replies setting up the spell.
Dawn flees the room, Xander following closely.
"What's wrong?" he asks joining her at the end of the bed.
"Xander..." she starts pulling hair behind her ear
"I...think it's safe to say that I'm still the key"
Xander looks at Dawn in shock as his eyes widen
"How do you...I mean, are things after you again?"
"Things will always be after us Xander, all of us" she nervously begins
"but it's more than that., the energy is physical, today I simply called for Thalia to stop and then she couldn't walk...and at the hospital I cried over Faith and then this happened"
Xander is near enough speechless over what's just been said "You think you can call out for me to win the lotto this week?"
"Dawn, do not worry okay? We will get to the bottom of whatever is doing this and why?"
"...and Thalia? I mean what is she and...why does she want Faith?"
Dark, damp dreary caves, flaming torches are the only source of light.
Two men in scarlet red robes sit upon thrones "Step forward Weather Witch and tell us what you bring"
Thalia steps forward from the shadows holding a bound and gagged Faith with one arm and a large dagger in the other. Tears are dampening the surface of her eyes
"I bring you the evil one...Masters"
**Mmmbop ba du ba dop ba du wop, ba du ba dop ba doo wap, ba do ba dop ba du**
Dolly bellows out mopping the floor in the cafe as the music is cut off, she spins to see Dawn standing cross armed and looking pissed.
"Hey, Faiths friend right? Those Hanson boys...creative lyrics"
Dawn walks over to Dolly attempting the interogartion mode as Andrew joins her slurping on a large milkshake.
"What do you know about the Elders?" Dawn commands cornering Dolly
"Yeah, come on pond scum spill it" Andrew chirps
both Dolly and Dawn turn to him "Pond Scum?!" they say in Unison
"Little boy, leave the interagation to the crazy lady" says Dolly as Andrews its on the couner swining his legs.
"That's right, I'm crazy!!! So you'd better tell me now!!!" Dawn tries on the threatening thing
"Listen Lady, I talk for free you don't need to do the big bad gig" says Dolly pushing Dawn away.
"The Elders, they're like this Anti-slayer thing...they get girls make them think they're pretending to be slayers and get them killed. The girls used are usually potentials"
"Potentials? Do these guys work for the First?"
"Honey, everyone works for the first...these guys are independent though. They think the slayer is wrong, they used to be run by this guy named Caleb...but a Slayer killed him and they've been..."
"Caleb? like evil preacher dude?" calls Andrew terrified
"Right and they basically want the slayer dead.That girl you sometimes with, the Weather witch?"
"Thalia? Weather Witch...that works!"
"She's not a potential...but she is very powerful and they will use her to kill the slayer. They'd have spent months manipulating this girl, making her think the Slayer is evil, that she slays people...all they had to do wall pull up Faiths prison records and it was easy"
Dawns cell begins to ring "Hello?"
"Dawn, it's Xander, we know where she is, we've got to hurry"
Faith is tied up as one of the elders, looking much like The Gentlemen beings to scratch at Faiths skin, Thalia can't look at the pain being inflicted on the small girl.
"Silence in the room, our Queen arrives" from the shadows a Woman slowly walks, her face is disfigured where is has been prepared.
"For the shadows we bought her, from the grave she was pulled. Now she returns to take back what she gave...the Mother is here to take Faith to her grave"
Thalia looks up in shock as Faiths Mother steps out into the light and grins.

"No!" Thalia calls out.
"You can't do it yet"
"Who might this be? I can feel the power just buzzing around her" says Faiths Mother, Doloris, as she circles around her.
"She's not right. We do this now...have her killed" she snaps her fingers.
"...and have her watch" two demons trenchmen grab Thalia by both arms and chain her to the wall screaming.
Dolloris kneels down looking at her and grabs her hands "Such soft skin, you must moisturise" she smiles as the grabs her fingers and snaps them backwards as Thalia screams in pain.
Faith watches on crying.
"We need to get there now" Dawn is boiling over with rage as she leads the pack
"So we can get fryed by Storm again" Xander says pissed at her actions
"Storm was so cool" "I know, I love the one when she..." the banter starts between Andrew and Xander
"It's not her fault" Dawn shouts at them "She's been manipulated for months, she doesn't know if she's coming or going and she thinks she's fighting on the side of good"
Thalia is still chained up to the walls, her hands puring with blood her face scratched as Faith is suspended above a large red symbol looing much like that on the seal of the first.
She has been dressed in a christening gown with her hair in ribbons "Leave her alone, she's done nothing wrong"
Thalia speaks weakly as she spits blood from her mouth.
"Nothing wrong? Nothing wrong?" Doloris flashes over to Thalia
"She took my youth, my life, she took everything away from me"
"You wont get away with this...she's powerful and she's coming for you"
"Who's she? Hmm...some crazy Goddess from above?" laughs Doloris
"You wish!..." Thalia whimpers raising an eyebrow
"I wish hey? So who is this mysterious she? Buffy...the Powerless vampire layer?"
"...she's here" smiles Thalia
Doloris face drops as Dawn crashes through the door
"So, you're Faiths Mom huh? I guess the looks came from elsewhere"
"I will not allow some mortal girl to ruin my plans again" screams Doloris
"Get dead" Dawn says proud of the pun
"Dawn, she's already Dead" pipes up Andrew
"I think she was going for that" Travis informs him
Xander and Garrison rush over to free Thalia but are stopped in thier tracks by two of the henchmen and thrown down.
Fred stands outside of the door chanting from a book, she is in line enough to view the events in the room, but not enough to be seen.
She chanted and raises her hand, releasing the shackles holding Thalia.
Picking herself up from the ground Thalias eyes begin to do the "Crazy ass glowing thing" as Travis puts it.
She leaps to her feet as Dawn nods at her, calling out to the sky's a large black cloud appears inside the cave. Everyone is drawn to it including Dolloris.
From nowhere a thick dark fog begins to appear around them, Dawn rushes over to free Faith and she pulls her down Faith is crying for her.
Dawn begins to carry Faith out through the fog as Doloris leaps into thier path "Unhand my child" she screams.
Faith pulls away from Dawn and takes Doloris hand. Dawn screams out but stops immediately when Faith smiles at her.
"Faith, it's time for you to go now" smiles Doloris holding her close to the edge of the seal.
"Mommy...you've got to sleep now" Faith says innocently.
Doloris stares at her confused then Faith smiles and shoves her into the darkness as Doloris screams.
Dawn grabs Faith and pulls her out as the cave begins to crumble around them. The Elders appear to have made a swift exit during the midst of things.
Watching from the door way as the clouds clear and the cave slowly shatters Garrison does a head count "Where's Thalia?"

"Bye Fred, you'll have to visit again with less apocalyptic circumstance. Say Hi to Connor if you see him" calls Dawn as she waves Fred off.
"You ready?" asks Xander holding his arms around Dawns shoulder. She nods at him.
Xander and Dawn take Faith down to the graveyard, dressed in rather oversized clothes they sit her by her Mothers grave.
"This is it" smiles Xander "Looks like she's gonna get that closure after all"
Faith places flowers on her Mother grave then runs her finger gently over the letters "Bye, Bye Mommy" she begins crying fearsly as she tears the flower heads to pieces.
Light surrounds her as she screams at the grave "Why didn't you love me?!?!" now Faith has returned to herself, she continues to tear up the flowers and punch the grave stone before collapsing with her arms around it crying.
Dawn and Xander watch on barely able to hold back the tears.
*Leave - B*Witched plays over the final scenes*
Faith is crying in Xanders lap at her apartment.
Fred is driving home looking exhausted.
Travis goes to knock on Faiths door, but walks away when he hears her with Xander.
Andrew and Garrison are curled up together reading and laughing at a comic.
Dawn walks into her dorm room to find all of Thalia's stuff gone, she finds a note saying 'Sorry' then rushes out of the door.
Thalia is stood on the remains of the cave, tears rolling down her face as Dawn walks in behind her.
Dawn taps her on the shoulder and smiles lightly as she pulls Thalia forcefully in for a hug, Thalia rests her head on Dawns shoulder crying.
