A young man is running with speed through a dark alley, he looks over his shoulder in ear as he is stopped.
"What do you want? Please I didn't do anything"
he pleads desperately.
"Sorry, a Wish is a Wish"
We don't see what stops him but it makes him scream as he falls to the ground, bloodied and broken.
All we do see is the tips of what seems to be a brown robe, covering slim legs and dark boots.
Overview of this alley on a shiny day. Policemen surround the body, outside the alley a car pulls up.
Xander steps out and looks around "New York, New York, it's a hell of a town" he smiles grabbing his suit case and walking up the steps to the porch of a large white house.
He knocks on the door cheerfully, as it opens.
the girls eyes open wide "Xander!!!" she smiles
"Hey, Anya"
"What the hell are you doing here?" she asks bluntly playing with the sleeves of her long brown coat.

"Nice to see you too, are you gonna let me in?"
Anya looks doubtful as she gestures him in. "So, really Xander..."
She starts as she walks through the house
"whats with the social call? I mean you haven't bothered to see me since...it all happened. Some Frat boys been killed and you're looking to place the blame?"
"No, Anya. When you left, we were in the midst of it all, I never got a chance to..."
"to what? to kill me, to tell me you love me?"
"to Thank you"
Anya stops in her tracks and gives a half smile
"Thank me for what?"
"For being you and keeping me as me" Xander smiles holding out a gift in his hand.
"What's this?" she says snatching it out of his hands and tearing it to pieces.
She reveals a corsage "Funny flower?"
"Happy anniversary Anya" he smiles
She looks at him in confusion then down at the flower and laughs "Six years since the Prom"
"It would've been more special on five but you were all, dissapeared"
She smiles at him and covers her mouth like shes about to cry, before leaping onto him and throwing her arms around him smiling "Thankyou" she whispers.
"You okay?" asks Thalia as she walks over to Dawn, sat nervously on a chair in the corner.
"No, What if he's dead?...because of me"
"It's not your fault...It's mine" says Faith standing in the door way.
"She came after me...not you"
Ethan is pacing the office infront of his Wife, Anna.
"We need the girl, we can no longer use Linda to get to her"
"Calm down Ethan...we'll call Melissa"
"ahh, Melissa of course! I forgot about her..."
"Forgot about me Daddy?!...your youngest?!"
Ethan turns to see Melissa stood in the door way, she drops her suit case and smiles
"I heard you needed a proffesional"
the three of them smile at eachother menacingly.

Xander and Anya are sat on the back porch of her house sipping on fruity looking drinks.
"How did you afford all of this?" Xander quizzes looking around.
"Bank job" Anya replies bluntly sipping on her drink "So, what've I missed?"
"where should I start?"
"Who's died this year" Anya laughs
"Faith" Xander replies casually.
"Oh, I...really?" Anya begins to well up
"Oh, don't worry, she's okay now...there was a little aftermath, but she's live and kicking"
"Why do Slayers always do that? None of them ever stay dead...So, who's the new slayer?" Anya questions.
"Oh...I, don't know actually" he replies dumb struck
Night falls over Boston as a bus pulls up at the centre of the town a young girl with Mousy brown hair looks around and smiles before walking into the night.
Ryan and Andrew are still chained up in the room at the back of the office, Kelly and Melissa are torturing them as they hear screaming in the office they run out to see thier parents screaming with joy.
"Hi, Sis, d'ya miss me?" smiles the girl who just stepped from the bus.
"So, the wonderer returns" says a sour Linda
"Come on nearly 30, don't get mad at me for using my youth"
"I am 27...not 30, and if you call using your youth, galavanting around Australia instead of finishing High School, well, whatever"
"You have lived in America far too long, If you can't remember, Myself and Melissa were born and bred in Australia...you know...after 1980"
"Look mini me, you wanna go? We'll go!"
"Bring it Grandma, you'd be surprised the skills I've picked up lately"
The two square up to eachother ready to fight as Ethan steps in.
"Girls, Girls, Girls be nice to your little Sister. It's rude for you not to have introduced her to our guests" he smiles leading Amarilis by the arm.
He steps down into the dark room with Amarylis, or Lissy as she goes is know to her Father, Ethan shuts the door on his other daughters.
"Who are these?" Lissy asks quietly
"They're friends of the Slayer" he smiles "Friends we need to use to get the girl"
"Which Girl?"
"The one with the power" he smiles
"The Slayer?" Lissa asks cautiously
Ethan laughs wickedly tapping the side of his nose "All in good time"
Lissa stays behind for a while after Ethan leaves her with the others, she paces nervously pondering before rushing back to the office.
"Daddy, I want to help get the girl" she smiles.
Xander and Anya walk drunkenly along the road singing "I'll Never Tell" and falling around laughing.
They head to turn down an alley as they're stopped by a policemen.
"Sorry you can't come down here"
"Why not?" Xander asks or rather slurs
"Yeah, why not? Is there an old man paying to get his penis serviced?"
Rather than doing his usual correcting Xander begins to laugh
"This is no laughing matter, things are getting strange around here. This girl said she was having a fight with her boyfriend and she wished he'd burn...then he caught fire"
Xander suddenly sobers up
"She wished?" he asks as Anya looks at the floor.
"Well, sorry we can't help you officer, bye now" Anya smiles and then walks off at a heavy pace Xander chasing behind.
"Anya?...Anya?..." he calls as she ignores him "Anyanka?"
She stops in her tracks and turns back walking right up to Xander.
"So what? People burn to death after a woman makes a wish and it's automatically me?"
"Usually, yes!"
"Well, thats just great Xander! Good old Anyanka, vengeance demon again kill, kill, kill...for your information Alexander Lavelle Harris.."
"What did we say about Lavelle in public Anya?"
"oh shove Lavelle! I am a justice demon...that's right I wreak good old fashioned Justice"
"What does that mean?" Xander asks unsure
"It means that I shadow vengeance demons and undo thier spells by getting people to take the wish back"
"Oh...then why were you so keen to get away"
The two walk along slowly
"I'm tired, it's my only day off since Christmas and I don't want to work!"
"Yeah, Anya, sweetie, I don't think that's the issue right now!"
they turn the corner into another bar where they bump into a familar face
"Harmony?!" Xander says tapping her on the shoulder
She spins trying to be mean "I am Harmonica Queen of all venge..."
"Xander!!!...Hey!!" she squeals jumping up and down "Sorry about the whole...speech thing, it's my gig now"
"You're a vengeance demon?" Xander asks
"Yep, I'm D'Hoffryns favourite"
"No you're not!" Anya snarls
"Yes I am, he told me he loved me"
"I meant, No you're not a Vengeance demon, Vampires can't be"
"I'm not a Vampire dummy, I got Shampooed!"
"Clearly you mean Shan-Su'ed" Anya remarks
"Right, that"
"Say, Harmony you didn't by chance...set someone on fire today did you?" Xander attempts to keep it casual.
"No, No, that was my friend Aura!"
"Aura, locker in the body Aura?" Xander asks
"Yep, when Scott Hope told everyone she was gay, she went crazy and got her demon on!" Harmony smile sipping on a large pink drink with Umbrellas.
"Well, it was certainly nice to catch up with you" Xander says as he leaves.
"Oh and Harmonica!!! D'Hoffryn's gay...why do you think he hangs round with so many girls!!" smiles Anya as she walks out.
Faith and Thalia are desperately looking for ways to find out the location of Ryan and Andrew as there's a knock at the door.
Faith answers it to reveal Lissy standing there, high with attitude.
"Can I help you?" Faith says rhetorically with attitude in her voice.
"You die recently?" asks Lissy
"What's it to you?" Faith snarls, still blocking the door way, Lissa pushes past her and enters.
"It's my life is what it is to me. I'm the new Slayer and I know where your friends are!"

"Looks like the line isn't wiped out after all" Thalia speaks up as Dawn and Garrison step out of the bedroom.
"Who's this?" asks Garrison
"This is, fill in the blank, she's the new Slayer apparently"
"Definately, and the names Lissy Rayne"
"Rayne? like Linda Rayne?!" asks Faith
"How do you know 'it'?" Lissy replies
"She's the bitch that started this!" Faith says forcefully.
"Yeah, well, actually she's not" Lissy replies "It was my Dad, Ethan"
"Ethan Rayne? Like evil costumes, Demon Giles and Scary sex on car Mom, Ethan?" Dawn asks in panic
"The one and only" Lissy replies unshocked at his imfamousness.
"Give us one reason why we should trust you" calls Garrison angrily.
"Because you want your friends to live...and I want my family dead!"
Everyone looks at her in shock.
Xander waits outside the police station as Anya teleports into the cell of the Girl, Janine, who got her boyfriend burnt.
"Hey, fire girl, can I talk to you?"
Janine looks at her in shock "You're on of them aren't you?"
"No, sweetie, I'm what they hide from, so I think you should listen to me"
"What do you want me to do?" she asks nervously as Anyanka smiles down at her.
Garrison, Dawn and Lissy are charging down the road at full speed.
"If this is a trap..." Garrison starts
"You'll what, move me to death?" Lissy replies
"You'd be surprised" Garrison replies remembering the capabilities of his powers.
"You can't come in, I'll go in, put on the act. Un-chain them and then give you the signal"
"What signal?" Garrison asks
"I'll scream 'now' really loud" Lissy says as she walks into the building leaving them i hearing distance of the door.
"I got a not so fun feeling about this" Dawn says worried.
Faith and Thalia are in the graveyard both holding large axes.
"I can't believe this" Thalia says angrily dragging the axe along the floor.
"We're the two strongest fighters and they've gone all 'this time it's personal' on us"
"Hey, Lady T, be cool with it. It's not mission impossible, they're only taking two people out of a cave"
"Besides..." Faith says spotting a drunken teen vamp party "We've got a party to crash"
"I need you to reverse the wish, take it back" says Anya to Janine
"No"
"So, you wish him that much pain? Honestly?" Anya seems concerned
"I Wish he'd feel more pain than he could possibly imagine"
"Oh, great, this'll go well" in a flash Aura appears and tears the heart straight from Janines chest. Anya vanquishes her and teleports back to Xander.
"She's not taking that wish back" Anya says casually walking on
"Why not?"
"She's dead..." Xander looks scared "Not by me! Aura, she ripped her heart out"
Anya stops and turns to look at Xander "It would seem losing her forever is the most pain that he could possibly feel"
they smile lightly at eachother before walking off.
"I don't see why Amaryllis gets to go and play with them on her own" whines Melissa
"Because, darling, she's the favourite and far more creative and scheming than you" Anna replies.
Lissy is in the caves with Andrew and Ryan
"Don't speak, just stay silent. Your friends will be here soon. I'm going to unlock these chains, but you have to look like you're still in them okay?"
Andrew nods but can barely move, Ryan is surprisingly enthusiastic, adrenaline from the anger is raging through him.
Lissy walks out of the room and locks the door behind her "That was fun" she smiles to her parents and sisters.
"Can someone get me a drink please?" she asks
"Get it yourself" replies Melissa
"NOW!" Lissy calls loudly.
"Keep your hair on!" says Melissa walking to the kitchen slowly.
Lissy clears her throat "I said..NOW!"
Dawn and Garrison crash through the door, baseball bats at the ready.
"What the...you?!" Ethan says harshly at his Daughter.
"Daddy...guess who's the new slayer, I'll give you a hint...me!"
"Noo!" calls Ethan in shame
The battle begins as Linda and Anna rush from the room, Melissas jaw is cracked with a punch from Lissy.
Ethan grabs Dawn round the mouth, attempting to take her away, Lissy spots this and hurls a paperweight knocking him unconcious.
Garrison is in the dark room he kisses Andrew and then takes him down from the chains, as the chains are taken off, things begin to rumble as four large demons step out.
Ethan flees with laughing words "Here comes the real treat"
Dawn and Lissy look at eachother before rushing into the dark room.
The fight doesn't even need to start, Garrison holds them back as Lissy kicks in a pillar hurrying the collapse along, the five of them rush out.
Ethan, Anna and Linda are huddled in a bunker as one of the demons carries Melissa in, she's dead.
"No, No!! They'll pay for this!" Ethan sobs as he kisses her on the head.

Several hours have passed. Xander is almost home.
Garrison is nursing Andrews wounds gently.
Dawn knocks at Ryans door "There's some things we need to talk about"
she says playing with the ends of her sweater.
Ryan allows her to come in "Before you start, I don't blame you. I knew what I was getting into by moving to Boston"
"What do you mean?" she seems confused
"You ever watch Charmed?" Ryan asks
"With the Sisters? Sometimes, all seems a bit far fetched though" Dawn laughs
"Well, its not so far fetched. All fiction starts with fact"
"Did you used to be a woman?" asks Dawn
Ryan laughs holding his side "No, I'm a white lighter. I was born to protect people"
Dawn smiles "Good job I didn't get hired for that"
"Well, if it's any big, If i bleed enough, I can end the world" she jokes.
Ryan smiles and then kisses Dawn, taking a moment to grasp it, Dawn kisses back. The two continue kissing as they fall back on the bed, Dawn removes Ryans shirt.
Andrew and Garrison are kissing gently,though eventually building upto passion. they fall back on the bed.
Faith walks into her apartment throwing an axed own she heads straight to the refrigerator, graabing everything out of it she sits at the table as the door knocks.
She jumps up to see Xander standing there nervously.
Garrison and Anrew are kissing under the covers.
Dawn and Ryan are well involved in bed as hundreds upon hundreds of small pink buterflies flutter around the room un-noticed, as the pair literally glow.
Faith and Xander are both kissing roughly and passionately, undressed in bed.
Ethan stares at them through the window.
