EXT – PORTAL – NIGHT
RYAN
So what do we do now?
JONES
Look at the pretty purple lights

Those lights which are getting bigger and bigger, brighter and brighter?
JONES
That’s the one
The portal grows rapidly and lets out a ring of energy, which pulls trees from their roots and sends the entire group scattering.
Faith is first to look up as she shocks back from an small army of around a dozen of the demons they earlier fort
All five of them are soon stood in a line ready for the battle, fists and weapons at the ready
FAITH
Go!
Connor is fighting a demon as another comes behind him and tears at his back – he is now cornered by two demons until Dawn flips between them and pulls him out
CONNOR
Nice moves
DAWN
(smiles)

INT – FAITH’S APARTMENT – NIGHT
MARIA
Okay I’m pretty ready for this
ANDREW
Good because I just remembered this spell
MARIA
What spell?
ANDREW

MARIA
Never heard of it
ANDREW
It brings you this like pipe that sort of hypnotises demons in a way – I’m not sure if it’ll work on non-earth ones but it was originally made for lions then worked on demons so…
MARIA
Anything you can find. From what they said on their way to the graveyard these guys are nasty
ANDREW
Okay so um, wish me luck
MARIA

ANDREW
Yeah duh I wish me luck to!

EXT – GRAVE/PORTAL – NIGHT
Faith seriously goes some on beating a demon down she is riding it’s back and continuously stabbing it with a small knife until it falls down.
FAITH
I hate you!
Ryan is thrown into Jones – bowling him over hard as Connor seriously beats on one of the demons. Another is up on a tomb as Faith fights below – it’s about to leap down as Dawn launches herself up slams a hunga munga (Anne thingy) directly into it’s skull cracking it along the sides.
DAWN
Back off!
She leaps off to Faith’s side the grip hands for a shake as they move back to back and charge out into the demons.
Faith flips Dawn up and she comes down on a demon holding it by the horns and pulling it to the ground.
CUT TO.
INT – FAITHS APARTMENT – NIGHT
Andrew is looking at his pot very disappointed
KORBEN
Did it work?
ANDREW
No
KORBEN
(grinning)
It did
ANDREW
Do you see a flute?
KORBEN
You didn’t give it a specific location – Imagine my surprise when I reached for the tissue in the bathroom and found a flute – it was awkward.
ANDREW
Oh god thankyou!
Andrew throws his arms around Korben, it falls into a kiss – a long one but not a passionate one just a relaxed one.
ANDREW
Whoa
KORBEN
What did that mean?
ANDREW
I don’t know…I can’t know until…
He’s cut off as light literally forces him to squint. They rush out to the other room where Maria is literally blurred out through light – it spills out smashing all of the windows on the apartment, the boys duck for cover.
CUT TO.
EXT – GRAVEYARD – NIGHT
All of the demons and the gang stop fighting as they throw themselves down to shield from the light.
CUT TO.
AMBERFIELD, ENGLAND
A dozen slayers are gathered outside with Darren as they stare up at the sky a bright white flash beam up almost like the moon is stretched out into one long tracking.
DARREN
Something’s big is goin’ down over there
CUT TO.
EXT – GRAVEYARD – NIGHT
FAITH
Jones, go!
Jones stands holding his ribs – he’s beaten badly
JONES
I can handle it!
FAITH
Go! I’m not risking…
(thinks)
I’m not risking them getting hurt go and check on them
JONES
Nice cover up
FAITH
I’m not losin’ you again now leave!
ANYA
For crying out loud just leave
FAITH/JONES
Anya?
ANYA
You know you ruined my night out by almost burning my eyes out
FAITH
What are you doing here?
ANYA
Thought I’d zap by see what troubles you losers were in this week – four days, four days and you’re already in an apocalypse that’s disturbing
FAITH
We’re a little busy
Dawn comes flying past them and looks at Anya confused before running back into battle.
ANYA
Give me that!
Anya takes Faiths sword, Faith looks at her like she’s lost it – Anya zaps out and zaps in infront of a demon, she swings the sword round fast enough to cut it’s head off and zaps back to faith before it’s even on the ground
ANYA
Did I do it?
FAITH
Anya take Jones back to mine
ANYA
No, no there’s a strange gypsy girl making noises on the floor
FAITH
Go!
Jones stands and runs, limping the entire time clutching his ribs
FAITH
Anya – take a sword and help us
ANYA
But prada!
FAITH
Anya!
ANYA
Fine!
(under breath)
But you owe me $200
CUT TO.
INT – FAITHS APARTMENT – NIGHT
Jones crashes through the door and runs over to Maria – she smiles at him as if she’s high
JONES
Maria?
MARIA
What a ride
She folds back and laughs before her eyes roll back and she begins shaking violently in his arms
ANDREW
What’s wrong with her?
END OF PART THREE
EXT – GRAVEYARD – NIGHT
There’s just one demon left standing and Faith is the only fighter left standing
She boots the demon with all her force and his collision with the portal widens it and it falls in. Faith’s face is highlighted by the purple illuminations
Connor and Dawn slowly step up to Faith
FAITH
Pretty colour
DAWN
I like it
CUT TO.
INT – FAITHS APARTMENT – NIGHT
Maria stops shaking and jolts in Jones arms.
He looks at Andrew and bursts out crying as he starts to shake her
JONES
Maria! Maria!
Her eyes open, she has blood by her mouth
CUT TO.
FAITH
Guess it’s time for me to take a closer look
Faith starts to step up and Connor pulls her arm
DAWN
Faith, no!
FAITH
I’m gonna have to stop you right?
Faith goes to swing but Connor flips her over and pushes her into Dawn.
CONNOR
I love you
He smiles at Dawn and nods at Ryan
CONNOR
It’s okay I know my way around
He runs forward at full speed as Dawn screams his name out, Faith holding her back the portal closes behind him
