Debbie, no thank YOU for contributing such a powerful essay! I loved TnT with my whole heart, but I have to admit that my feelings about Todd are a long way from "positive & favorable" right now, of course that could change. - Excellent essay, Debbie. I have stated in the past that I'm a TNTer first and foremost, but of course I would love to see some independence and exploration of Tea's character. And specially with Latino culture and music being so popular right now you'd would think a smart EP would take advantage of that angle!!! As for my "feminist" sensibilities, I learned long ago that OLTL thinks woman power is in being an untrustworthy, lying, scheming harpy like Blair and Lindsay !!! Debbie, your words are so beautiful, what a wonderful tribute! You touched upon so many of the things that pulled me into her portrayal and this character for her own sake and as an individual character. Like you said, there is so much truth in her acting, and it always seemed like she was pulling something from deep inside of herself to bring the deepest emotions of Tea to the surface, and I think that's so brave and made the character so real.
