Revenge is a mighty and powerful force and it was one that got Blair Cramer back up on her feet. Well almost on her feet. She still used a cane to walk as she tired easily and sometimes her legs felt wobbly. Therapy was helping though. Every day she felt stronger. Every day brought her closer to realizing her dream of being back on top where she belonged. And every day that passed brought her closer to making Tea Delgado pay for stealing what was rightfully hers, and stealing it not once, but twice.

"Hi there Beautiful."

"Max! I�m glad you�re here. Did you find them?"

"Right here." He patted his briefcase. "They were right where you said they�d be. In his office at the Sun."

"Did anyone see you?"

"No. Your keys worked perfectly. The damn fool must have been too besotted with Tea being back because even Todd isn�t crazy enough to trust you." He looked at her in admiration. "But then Todd thinks he�s invincible, doesn�t he?" He handed her a sheaf of documents.

"They�re all here! YES!!!" Blair rifled through the papers happily. After she and Todd had settled their misunderstanding about Blair naming Kelly as guardian of Starr, should anything happen to her, they had signed a mutual agreement that should anything happen to either of them the other would assume sole custody. Blair had agreed to this only after Todd had also stipulated that in that eventuality the ailing parent�s assets would revert to the custodial parent as well. "Perfect!" She purred. "Thank you Max. I�ll see you don�t regret this."

"Yes. You will. And you�ll do more than that too, right?"

They eyed one another in total and complete understanding.

Tea took a last adoring look at her two sleeping angels then tiptoed out of the nursery. Starr had gone to Susie�s for a sleep over, and with Todd at work the house was quiet.

Todd. He was all she thought about lately. They were sharing a house, their children, their lives, but as yet not a bed. Truth be told she was terrified. The last time they were together, they conceived the twins and then he was gone. She couldn�t face that again. This way, at least she could see him every day. But slowly her desire to be with him again was overcoming the fear.

She smiled to herself...well maybe tonight....

Todd smiled broadly to himself as he left the mayor�s press briefing. He was going to have fun spoofing that fool�s image of Llanview in tomorrow�s Sun...and even more fun when he got home tonight. He had big plans and all of them involved Ms. Tea Delgado.

Preoccupied and content, he never felt the blow that knocked him unconscious. Nor felt himself being lifted into the back of the silver van.
