The couplet at the end of the sonnet describles how he once loved his misturess. It alter the meanin becaues in the begining he describes his mistress as an ugly woman so it makes you think he would never love her.

Sahkespeare mocks aspects fo the traditional sonnet becaue he does not follow iambic pentameter.
