1. Explain the couplet at the end of this sonnet. How
does it alter the meaning of the sonnet?

1.In this one he complanes how he dislikes his mistress. But then on the las line he changes the whole entire meaning. He says that his love for the maiden is very rare, and he cannot compare his mistress to the other beautys. He basically says that even though she is all those things, he has a rare love for her that he will always have.

2. How does Shakespeare mock aspects of the
traditional sonnet in Sonnet 130?

2.Shakespere mocks the traditional aspects of sonnets by comparing her to nothing and that like his other love poems he has. He saying that he hates her and dosn't want to be with her anymore.
