In the sonnet, Shakespeare had described how he though his mistress was unattractive and how he didn't really like being around her. The couplet at the end revealed that he once loved her, but he did not love the person that she turned out to be. Shakespeare mocked other sonnets with Sonnet 130 because he did not follow a specific order of Iambic Pantameter. He had started out with just random amounts of syllables then to 10 syllables in a line and then back to a random pattern.
