And while you have the carbs off, make sure you drill out the aluminum caps over the air mixture screws and set them to ???. I think it's 1 1/2 turns out. Don't recall where I have that written down, but someone will chime in if I'm incorrect.

Another trick I did when I had mine off was to replace the cap and bowl screws with allen heads. That will allow some minor servicing of the carbs without having to remove them in the future.
