If you don't want to take the forks apart, this idea worked fine for me. Remove one drain plug and drain that side. Remove air filler valve core.Measure correct amount of new oil. Push a small flexible plastic hose onto the drain plug threads and dip the other end into the container of measured fork oil. Connect a small vacuum pump to the now-coreless air filler valve and pull the oil in that way. When all oil is in, remove hose and plug the drain with your finger while you re-install the drain plug.Remove the vacuum and repeat to drain and fill the other side. Much better than taking forks apart, as shop manual recommends.
