I store my bikes with SeaFoam in the gas, for the Winter months, run them for two minutes to circulate it into the floats, and carbs. Come Spring, they start like I parked them yesterday (not four months prior...).

I run SeaFoam through the gas once each month, on all of my vehicles, as a preventative, to absorb water (if any), dissolve any varnish deposits, and to just thoroughly clean the system. Been doing this since 2006, used it on three different bikes (down to one only, now), and I have not had a carb issue since I started this routine. YMMV. Cheers!
