The most common problem with the volume is the "MUTE" button is stuck in or when you open the trunk the rear passenger radio control module will will get bumped and the mute button is in.

The next common is if you have lost power or disconnected battery the radio will "Reset" to Defaults of it's original settings and you have to set to the speakers, most common is it resets to "HS" (Headsets) If the "HS" is lit up in the radio screen you need to push that button to get rid of it.

Next is the "Volume" the bars on the led screen should be on about 3 bars.

Next check the 3amp fuse in fuse box, and the 2 fuses at the back of the radio by removing the headlight.

Also check fader switch that it works on the front & rear speakers some have removed rear speakers or they do not work and it is set on rear = no sound . Hope this helps.. Let us know if you find anything else that is odd about it or get in touch with "Pete", above, he is the best at radio problems and will get you going one way or another..

Also: Check the "AVC control knob should be at 10:00 & 2:00
