Subject: Playing cards, busting up a crackhouse and my opponent

"Four aces boys" Vic says as he lays down his cards. The other four members of the Strike Team groan as they slam thier cards on the table. Vic laughs as he pulls in the chips.

There's a knock on the door "Enter" Vic says. Det. Claudette Wyms comes in. "Vic, do you know of a crack house run by some guy named Monty?" Wyms asks. "Yeah its on Crescent, just west of 7th why?" Vic asks. "I need to pick up a smoker down there." Wyms replies. "No can do, Monty gives me dirt, i give him safe passage" Vic replies. "This guy might have something to do with my missing child case." Wyms replies. "Ok, I'll go pick him up" Vic says as he gets his jacket on and gets in his car.

Vic arrives at the crackhouse on the border of the Juno Ghetto and knocks on the steel enforced door. "Vic" The dealer says "Open up" Vic replies. The guy opens the door and Vic pushes Monty into the center of the room. "Lonnie Reborg, where is he?" Vic asks. "In the back." Monty says.

Vic goes into the back room and picks up a skinny crackhead off of the couch and leads him back into the living room. "Jesus Christ Monty, what are those kids doing here?" Vic asks as he sees two kids playing in another room. "I'm babysitting" Monty replies.

"Where's their mom?" Vic asks. "Out buying supplies" Monty replies. "Stick them in a back room, rent the Lion King" Vic says. "Someone stole the TV" Monty replies. "Then buy them some crayons for God's sake, just keep them away from the shit" Vic says as he takes Lonnie to his car and drives off.
