Subject: An Indecent Proposal

After a couple of weeks of being cooped up in the RWF apartments, Brian is starting to go stir crazy. It's an off day, which means no workout, so Brian decides to take a stroll through downtown Juno to get some fresh air and meet some of the people. The transition from the arena to downtown is a slow rot that increases as one creeps from block to block. A piece of trash here, a broken window there, and finally the neighborhood takes the shape of the ghetto. Brian has seen enough and decides to turn around, then runs straight into a Mexican guy, not quite by accident.

Mexican: Excuse me cuz. I'm sorry, I.. Hey wait a minute, you're Brian Von Braun aren't you?

That's right, I am. Can I help you with something?

Can I have your autograph?

Really? Sure! What do you want me to sign?

Um.... Lemme see here. Oh yeah, how 'bout the back of my business card esse?

Okay, what's your name?

It's... Paco, yeah, my name's Paco.

Brian signs the card and hands it over to "Paco."

Here you go.

Hey thanks cuz. Wait, there's one other thing. I wanna know something. What's your chances of beating Ken Wild twice in a row?

I think they're pretty good. I've beaten him once, and I think that given another match I'd have a bit of an edge.

I've been hired to tell you that we'd like to take a bit of the edge off, if you know what I mean. How does five hundred dollars sound?

Excuse me, but are you asking me to throw the match?

Well yeah...

It would take a HELL of a lot more than five hundred dollars, that's IF I ever decided to be a complete loser, washup, greedy, filthy slimeball! But that's never going to happen!

Not even for some blow?

"Paco" eases back and walks the other way as Brian takes a second to think about what just happened.

He can't get away with this. I've got to find Ken Wild and give him a piece of my mind!

Brian marches back towards the arena, while around the corner, a certain Mexican man sifts through the contents of Brian's wallet, smiling at the rookie champion's loss.
