Would have wrote you a poem,
But I could not find the words to say to you,
Should have sung you a song,
Like the one before,
And the one before that,
Could have a mix tape,
With all my favorite songs,
But instead I wrote these words down,
Upon these colored lines,

But when the lines,
All seem to fade,
Then what is left,
I need to say,
What will I do,
And what will I say,
Every time that I see you,

I think about you,
Night and day,
Think of what,
I need to say,
I tell myself,
That every things fine,
But the words don’t come out right,

Why do I sit and contemplate,
About what you want to hear,
Why do I sit and deliberate,
All my worry and my fear,

Cause when the lines,
All seem to fade,
Then what is left,
I need to say,
What will I do,
And what will I say,
Every time that I see you,

Sit back,
And await the day,
When the lines,
All seem to fade,
And on that day,
I’ll turn to you and say,
