Dear Songwriters & Friends,


The entry deadline for the 4th annual Great American Song Contest is right around the corner, so if you plan to enter this once-a-year event you'll need to hurry!

The contest is open to songwriters everywhere. Postmark deadline is Nov. 7. (All entries must be mailed by that date to be eligible for this year's contest -- they don't have to actually be received by Nov. 7.)

If you're unfamiliar with the Great American Song Contest, please take a moment to discover how much different (and better!) we are than other song competitions.

Visit our website below and click on 'Why This Contest Is Best'. If you want to see some of the famous songwriters and music-industry pros scheduled to judge this year's contest, click 'Judges & Judging'. (Remember, we are the only contest to guarantee that all participants will receive a written evaluation of their songs from the judges!)

This year's event provides great new prizes and 40 awards in eight different song categories. There's also a 'Lyrics Only' category for lyricists.

Rock/Alt
Country
Contemporary Acoustic/Folk
R&B/Hip-Hop/Rap
Christian/Gospel
Instrumental
Special Category Music (Children's/Patriotic/Holiday/Novelty/Other)
