Cuando Goldberg iniciaba en WCW y también algunas veces después, de vez en cuando se ponían los gritos "Goldberg...Goldberg" (pre-grabados) a través del sistema de sonido de la arena.

Eso hacía que por televisión se viese como que muchos fanáticos apoyaban a Goldberg. Esos gritos los ponían en algunos casos donde no se notaba al público muy emocionado con Goldberg o cuando se quería hacer ver que el público lo apoyaba.

Según Goldberg, eso al inicio fue una buena idea para promocionarlo.

Pero la MAYORÍA de las veces, los gritos "Goldberg...Goldberg" eran 100% reales.

Tal vez lo que lograron esos grtios falsos fue que los fanáticos tomaran esa idea de gritar el nombre de Goldberg en los shows.

Y también fuera de shows de lucha libre se escuchaban esos gritos y no eran falsos.
