En el pay-per-view que WCW realizó en diciembre de 1999 (se llamaba Starracade, puedes ver el reporte en nuestra sección de PAY-PER-VIEWS), Bret se enfrentó a Goldberg.

Durante el combate, Goldberg le dio una tremenda patada en la cabeza.

Eso le causó una contusión a Bret.

Luego, Bret siguió teniendo acción dentro del ring y este empeoró las cosas.

Esto provocó que visitar a su medico y este le diagnosticó la contusión.

Bret no se ha recuperado del todo y parace que no lo hará en mucho tiempo. Así que decidió retirarse en octubre del año pasado.
