Each afternoon became colder as the sun fought to display the same warmth it did during the summer months, but it came shorter everyday in it’s goal. The coats of the herd became thicker as a shield for protection grew. Tango’s own coat was wooly and thick now as she lay upon the earthen floor of her world. The voices of the others drifted past her perked orbs and a smile was brought to her lips at the sound of Bagheera’s voice. But she agreed on another point and voiced her own opinion. ‘You might not be a healer- but you are a blessing and your knowledge is received with much thanks.’ The voice of the new female captured the wounded dove’s opinion.
