Tia's eyes widened in alarm when she saw Erlic headed their way. Closer and closer he came, seeming to grow larger by the minute. He looked extremely ominous against the backdrop of the full moon; somewhat like a beast ready to attack its prey. Tia gulped at the rather opposing figure of the guildmaster. There was something about him that frightened her but her fears subsided once he began to speak. His voice wasn't as harsh as she expected it to be. In fact, he spoke rather softly and sounded a bit nervous. When he asked to speak with her in private, she nodded then gave Tristan a wink before following Erlic to the edge of the camp.

She took another swig from the jug then giggled at her initial feelings of terror at his approach. After taking a good look at him, she realized he didn't look like the big bad wolf after all! Nice of you to notice, she thought when he stated that she was a woman. She stifled a laugh when she realized how uncomfortable he was about talking to her. Maybe he thinks that I'm the one that bites!

Tia shifted her weight from one leg to the leg while she listened to him admit that he had trouble conversing with women. Well, you're doing fine so far! She tried to keep the puzzled expression from her face as she took another sip of brandy.

"I was hoping you could shed some advice to someone such as myself," he said. "Let's just say that there are some who view me as a grumpy old bastard. And I'd wish to learn how to speak clear to women."

Since the man had come to her for advice, Tia was determined to give him some, even though she had no clue how to advise him. The only women she conversed with where the old ladies that lived in the homes around the building she rented. Something told her that Erlic wasn't really interested in talking to old hags.

Tia played with a strand of her hair while slowly walking around the guildmaster, eyeing him up and down as she moved. Hopefully, she would him the impression that she was doing some deep thinking about his problem although the only think that filled her mind at the moment was the sound of the music coming from Val's lute.

"I've heard it said that practice makes perfect," she said after a while, giving him an impish grin. "I tell you what. I'll work with you. You keep talking and I'll listen and make any corrections I deem appropriate."

Before Erlic had a chance to say anything, Tia practically threw herself at him. She smiled when his arms automatically wrapped around her. "Well, you have no problem with your reactions. Now let's dance. You can whisper sweet nothings in my ear while we do so and then I'll grade your performance."

Tia snickered as the guildmaster led her in a dance to the slow tune Valhorek was now playing. Surprisingly, he was an excellent dancer! Give her a man who could dance and make her laugh anytime! As long as they excelled at those two things, who cared if they didn't know how to converse very well?

"Oops," she said, when she felt the brandy from the jug she held splash onto the back of Erlic's shirt. Tia backed out of his embrace and cocked her head. "Blackberries smell nice so think of it as a new cologne." She leaned her forehead against his chest and began to giggle. Obviously, the liquor was beginning to warp her brain but she didn’t care because she was having fun! Who the hell would have thought that it would be the fierce looking Erlic providing her with that fun?

"I see what you mean about having trouble conversing with women," she said, looking up into his eyes. "I don't recall you saying one word to me while we danced. We're going to need to work on that."

Tia jumped when she heard Jeremy shout. She reached for her sword, thinking they were about to be attacked by weird creatures that were called dudes and dudettes. But when the youth went on to tell everyone to gather around for a game, her eyes went wide with excitement. "I love games!"

She took a quick gulp of brandy then grabbed Erlic's hand and led him to the campfire. Smiling, she accepted the cigarette Jeremy handed her and lit it. Once she was sitting on the ground beside Erlic she took a drag of the cigarette then passed it to the guildmaster. "While we're waiting for the game to start we can practice your speaking lessons." With a playful grin on her face, she stared deeply into Erlic's eyes. "You can start off by saying something like, 'Tia you look very pretty tonight.'"

She set her jug down then fluffed up her fly away hair with her fingers and waited to hear some words pour from the guildmaster's mouth. When she spotted Barry flying toward them she waved at the skull then went back to staring at Erlic, who seemed to be studying the silly cigarette! "Oh, just suck down some of that smoke already cause it might help to loosen your tongue a bit." She poked him in the nose then giggled again. "We won't get anywhere fast if you keep claming up on me, you know!"
