Subject: Desktop Remote Support Software for Collaboration

Most companies that work on developing projects for new products or services use a chain management system. In this kind of system, one team works on an aspect of the project and forwards it to another team, which works on another aspect. The chain continues until the final product is ready. Unfortunately, companies that have expanded to other locations or countries face an issue of getting all the teams to work together.
Many of these teams work from different offices, while travelling, or from their homes. The number of companies with this kind of stratified workforce is increasing rapidly. With this stratification, it becomes a challenge to get everyone in a team together to work on one single project. The arrival of Desktop Remote Support solutions has given these companies a new opportunity to rectify this issue.
Most remote support programs are designed to directly control one computer using another one. These programs have already been used by many companies in recent times to conduct remote presentations, hold training sessions, and provide or receive tech support. There are various other business applications too, but one use that is overlooked is the ability to get multiple users to share and edit files at the same time. This feature, used in programs like the RHUB remote support appliance, allows team members to see, edit, and give their input on project files in a virtual group setting without travelling anywhere else.
The use of Remote Desktop software can save a huge amount of time and effort since the project files are not bounced from one member to another and multiple versions of these files need not be managed. Managing and editing these many versions of project files can not only be confusing but a waste of time for team members.
