It might help to start with your local domestic violence shelter or hotline. They can talk to you about it and help you figure out what your options are. 1-800-799-7233 is a nation wide 24 hor hotline you can call, 24 hours a day. Their webpage is http://www.ndvh.org/
If you are in the Lansing area you can call 517-337-1717 24 hours a day.
