Iron hoof grabbed hold of earth's lithosphere tearing chunks of emerald blades from their beds as lithe form darted across the valley. Her goal was the weeping willow grove, a place of rest and the ending point of their 'race'. There had been no need to glance back to see the dappled female speed after. While younger than herself Moonlight could hope that age and knowledge of the land would benefit her as would the raw power honed over the years - yet despite this all the dappled soon came within a head of her own stride. Always claimed to be one of the fastest within Hopeful Valley, Moonlight did not allow this occurrence to dishearten her. Age came at a cost, though wisdom was a blessed reward. Kicking limbs into second gear the raven siren dashed across the seemingly flat surface, sure to avoid the small dips of the land and fallen limbs due to mother nature's need for pruning. It was anyone's race.
