Sometimes it seemed to the golden femora that she was always trapped by the past. She knew the future must prevail and that sometimes you just have to let the dead rest in peace, but somehow she could never let them go in her mind. Snow-tipped audits twitched at the soft patter of hoofbeats resonating from the inky mare. Eyes flickered open, verdant pools taking in the form in front of her. At the softly spoken word a smile blossomed on her lips and her limbs unfurled lifting her up.

"Always and forever. How are you Moonlight?"

The question was utterly sincere. For sometimes she felt the black belle was far off even when she stood right in front of her. And since she had scented ML's old flame in the area, she wondered if anything had gone on. Or at least anything that the other wished to speak of. Granted the scent was old, but you never knew when the present had changed. Especially when you were always stuck in the past.
